Properties of IT accounts at UNIL

UNIL password
The term “UNIL password” refers to your main password, which must be renewed every year.
If in doubt, you can test it on the page https://id.unil.ch/info.

UNIL username
The term “username” refers to your UNIL username in the following format, e.g.: pmartin1

pmartin1: the first letter of your first name
pmartin1: a maximum of the first seven letters of your last name
pmartin1: optional, in case “pmartin” already exists

UNIL e-mail
The term “UNIL e-mail” refers to your e-mail address or mailbox in the following format, e.g.: pierre.martin1@unil.ch
