Leaving the FBM

Are you leaving FBM soon? Is your UNIL contract coming to an end?
Here is some information about your IT access and data management in anticipation for your departure:

UNIL IT access

Your access to FBM and UNIL IT resources (applications, websites, NAS server, Wi-Fi, etc.) will be automatically blocked at the end of your contract. However, you may be granted an extension of access upon justification. To do so, please complete the online form provided for this purpose.

UNIL mailbox

Your UNIL mailbox will remain open for six months after the end of your contract. We recommend that you activate the automatic reply function to notify recipients of your absence. To request immediate closure of your UNIL mailbox, please contact FBM IT support (50 94 or supportfbm@unil.ch), who will forward your request to the UNIL Central IT Services (Ci).

Managing your data

Please gather and organize your data. Make sure you have transferred all your professional data stored on your UNIL computer to an appropriate shared directory on the institutional storage infrastructure available to you. After you leave, in accordance with our charter (Art. 6.6.5 Data storage and confidentiality), your UNIL computer will be reinstalled and any remaining data left in any named directories on the institutional storage infrastructure will be deleted within 30 days.
