BioRender is available upon request to all UNIL and CHUV employees in the SSF and SSC departments. UNIL employees from other faculties may also be authorized upon request.
How can I obtain a BioRender Premium licence from UNIL ?
Every year in November, all PIs in the SSF and SSC departments are contacted to order or renew their BioRender estlicenses disponibleaccording surto demandetheir pourlaboratory's tousneeds. lesIn collaborateursthe sousform contratthey can indicate the number of licences and enter the email addresses (@unil.ch or @chuv.ch) of the recipients of these licences.
Individual licence requests which do not come from a UNIL ouor CHUV desfinancial départementsfund SSFmanager etor SSC.which Lesare collaborateurssent to the FBM support by a communication channel other than the annual form will be ignored.
Users for whom a licence has been ordered are then invited to register and log on to the BioRender FBM portal (edu-ID account linked to an UNIL d'autresIT Facultésidentity peuventrequired). égalementNon-renewed êtrelicences autorisésare surdeactivated demande.at the end of the annual validity period.

If you are on the list of authorised users for whom your IP has ordered an institutional licence, you will receive an invitation to connect to the BioRender FBM portal with your UNIL login credentials.
If the free version of BioRender is sufficient for your needs, you can register and connect free of charge to the main BioRender portal.
How do I transfer a UNIL BioRender Premium delicence l'UNILfrom one user to another ?

Invoicing
LesUNIL's demandesinstitutional deBioRender licences individuelles,are n'émanantsubject pas d'un responsable de fond financier UNIL ou CHUV ou communiquées par une autre voie que celle du formulaire annuel sont ignorées.
Les utilisateurs pour lesquels une licenceto a étéfee commandéeand sontare eninvoiced suiteannually invitésat àthe s'inscrireend etof àthe selicense connecter sur le portail BioRender FBMperiod (compte edu-ID lié à une identité informatique UNIL nécessaire). Les licences non renouvelées sont désactivées à la fin de la période annuelle de validité.
Si vous souhaitez obtenir BioRender en cours d'année et que votre adresse e-mail ne figurait pas dans le sondage transmis par votre responsable de recherche, veuillez contacter le support informatique FBM.
Comment accéder à BioRender ?
Si vous faites partie de la liste des utilisateurs autorisés et pour lesquels votre PI a commandé une licence institutionnelle, vous recevrez un message d'invitation et pourrez vous connecter sur le Portail BioRender FBM avec vos identifiants UNIL.
Si la version gratuite de BioRender est suffisante pour vos besoins, vous pouvez vous inscrire et vous connecter gratuitement sur le portail central de BioRender.
Comment transférer une licence BioRender Premium de l'UNIL d'un utilisateur à un autre ?
Il est possible de faire transférer une licence BioRender institutionnelle d'un utilisateur à un autre en cours d'année (par exemple: utilisateur qui quitte l'UNIL ou le CHUV), tant que le transfert est opéré au sein du même laboratoire et qu'il ne dépasse par le quota de licences commandées par le PI pour l'année.
Pour cela, veuillez contacter le support informatique FBM en indiquant l'adresse email @unil.ch ou @chuv.ch de la personne qui n'a plus besoin de la licence et celle du nouveau destinataire de la licence.
Facturation
L'utilisation de la licence BioRender institutionnelle de l'UNIL est payante et facturée annuellement à la fin de la période d'utilisation (décembre)December).
