Description
GraphPad Prism is a scientific software aimed at statistical analysis and data visualization, made available to the FBM community at a reduced price. The GraphPad Prism license is shared with CHUV.
GraphPad Prism licenses are transferable and are renewed every year at the beginning of May.
Invoicing
At the end of the validity period, the licenses which have been activated are invoiced to the departments, which can then re-invoice to the different research groups when appropriate (UNIL funds only).
Who can use and benefit from GraphPad Prism?
GraphPad Prism is available to every UNIL employee with an active contract from the following SSF departments: CIG, DIB, DBMV, DBC, DSB, DNF, DMF and DOF. The software can be installed on computers that have been registered with UNIL's inventory. This does not include private computers which have not been registered with UNIL's inventory.
How can I obtain a GraphPad Prism license ?
Prerequisite: the authorisation of the financial manager of your research group (usually your group leader) is mandatory.
In February, a survey is sent to the PIs of the FBM so they can indicate the number of licenses they need for their laboratory for the announced period. Once ordered by the FBM IT Service, the software is then installed on the computers that have been listed in the survey by the laboratory managers.
If you want to use GraphPad Prism but your computer was not mentionned in the survey, please contact the FBM IT Support.
