Suspend a subscription to a SYMPA distribution list

Description

Most SYMPA distribution lists are built from centralized databases linked to access management. The procedure below explains how to disable the receipt of messages from a distribution list without losing access. 

Procedure

• Go to https://sympa.unil.ch/
• Log in with Switch edu-ID credentials.

• In the "Chercher une liste" tab, click on "Formulaire de recherche".

• Search for the list in the search form, then click on its name.

• In the "Options de liste" menu, click on "Options d'abonné".

• In the "Suspendre l’abonnement" section, set the dates (interruption period) in the calendars. To suspend your subscription indefinitely, check the "Suspendre mon abonnement indéfiniment" box. Click "Suspendre mes abonnements" to save.
