Mission

The FBM IT Service (Si) is responsible for providing local IT services based on UNIL and CHUV existing resources (hardware and software infrastructure). It provides IT support to the UNIL research community (faculty members, mid-level staff, assistants) and to the administrative and technical staff of the Departments who have signed the Membership and support agreement of the FBM IT Management Plan (PFBM).

Activities

The activities of the FBM IT Service are the following:

Organisation

The FBM IT Service does not replace the activities of the UNIL Central IT Services (Ci) or those of the CHUV Information Systems Department (DSI), but rather complements them to meet the specific needs of the faculty. It strives to maintain dialogue between faculty users and the various IT teams at the Ci and DSI CHUV.

It brings together local IT managers who provide user support, as well as specialists in infrastructure, application, and project management.
