Installation
The software distributed by the UNIL Central IT Services (Ci) is available to all employees with a UNIL contract. Delivered in their latest version approved by the Ci, they can be installed on any computer registered with UNIL's inventory.
Some basic software and utilities are installed by default on all standard FBM machines. For the installation of additional software on FBM machines for professional purposes, please contact the FBM IT support.
Free and paid UNIL software
«UNIL software» designates any software, whether free or paid, distributed by UNIL's Central IT Services (Ci).
FBM Software
«FBM software» refers to free or paid software made available upon request by the FBM IT Service.

SWITCH applications
SWITCH applications are services provided by SWITCH to employees of Swiss universities. Use of these services is free of charge for anyone with a UNIL or a CHUV account.
